NUMBERS GAME: Looking back on the ‘80s, we know what happened to the cost of living in Orange County: It went up 55.4% over the decade. . . . But the cost of playing rose even more. . . . Heading into the ‘90s, Rams tickets are up by 47% and Angels tickets by 65%. Adult admission to Disneyland--$9.25 including 15 ride coupons in 1980--is up 176%. A parking ticket at the beach in Newport rose 240%. Barbie (the doll)--though still cheap herself ($5.99, up 50%)--is suffering from the same spiraling housing costs as her owners: The Barbie Townhouse costs $159.77, up 63%.
