CALIFORNIA IN BRIEF : SANTA ANA : Former Boyfriend Faces Murder Rap
Orange County prosecutors filed murder charges against an Inglewood man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend. Brian Keith Framstead, 29, was in critical condition at San Bernardino County Medical Center with burns over much of his body, suffered when he doused himself with gasoline and set his car afire near Victorville. “We could arraign him right in the hospital room, but I’m not even sure he’s coherent,” Deputy Dist. Atty. Charles J. Middleton said. Prosecutors charge that Framstead, upset over his breakup with Tammy Marie Davis, 19, shot the Stanton woman at point-blank range as she screamed on a stranger’s doorstep in Huntington Beach.
