LANE CLOSED: Caltrans will finish repairing the wire fencing that blocks the glare of oncoming headlights on the southbound San Diego Freeway today, closing the car-pool lane from Euclid Street to Fairview Road from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. . . . The southbound car-pool lane, which ends at the Corona del Mar Freeway, should be extended to the junction with the Santa Ana Freeway at the El Toro Y by March, according to Joe El-Harake, Caltrans commuter lanes coordinator.
