Fighting Bigotry
The Times should be congratulated for its excellent article on the Los Angeles County Human Relations Commission (Jan. 2). Every agency in our community that deals with diversity and discrimination counts on the commission as a source of information and expertise.
The commission’s assistance and cooperation were instrumental in helping the ADL launch our media, school and community-based prejudice reduction campaign, “A World of Difference.”
On numerous other matters the commission has been of great help and is a valued part of our diverse society.
We salute the Times and the commission.
