Monrovia : Meeting on Trash Scheduled

The City Council has scheduled a meeting for Tuesday between city officials and representatives of Best Disposal Co. and its prospective buyer, National Environmental Waste Management Corp., to review terms of the planned takeover.
Riverside-based National would assume Best’s contract to provide trash pickup services to the city. But a final date for the sale has not yet been set, because National is awaiting completion of an environmental report on Best’s Monrovia site. The report is expected within a month.
