Barr Weds in Beverly Hills: Roseanne Barr, television’s caustic mom, married comedian and longtime collaborator Tom Arnold on Saturday, four days after her divorce from her first husband became final. “For the first time in our lives, we feel truly happy and are both eager to learn and enjoy living our lives day to day,” the couple said in a statement released by publicist Alana Rothstein. The afternoon ceremony and reception at Barr’s home on Benedict Canyon Drive was a private affair attended by 40 close friends, relatives and cast members, Rothstein said. No further information was released about the second marriage of the “Roseanne” sitcom star, who had taken out a marriage license in Santa Monica Superior Court last Wednesday, the day her divorce from Bill Pentland was final. Barr divorced Pentland after 16 years, citing irreconcilable differences. Barr had postponed the marriage last month to allow Arnold to complete a rehabilitation program.
