Pasadena : Improvement Funds OKd
A $710,000 contract to modify street lighting on E. Colorado Boulevard and Los Robles Avenue and a $54,140 transfer of money for improvements at the Brookside Golf Course Clubhouse were approved Tuesday by the Board of Directors.
The $710,000 contract was awarded to Steiny and Co. Inc. to erect taller street lamps on Colorado Boulevard from Catalina Avenue to Sunnyslope Avenue and on Los Robles Avenue from Villa Street to the city’s northern limits.
Improvements to the clubhouse include re-tiling of the men’s and women’s locker room floors, recarpeting of the entire clubhouse, installation of a sand trap pit to avoid clogged plumbing when golf carts are cleaned, and redesign of the clubhouse landscape and irrigation to conserve water.
