ANAHEIM : Member Sought for Seniors Commission
The City Council is seeking individuals interested in filling a vacancy on the Senior Citizen Commission. Acting as an advisory board, the commission makes recommendations to the City Council regarding the needs and concerns of Anaheim’s senior citizens.
Members of the seven-person commission are appointed to a three-year term. Meetings are held the second Thursday of the month at 1:30 p.m. in the City Council chambers.
Those applying must be at least 60 years old, not employed in city government and must be a qualified voter. People interested should submit a letter to the city clerk’s office at 200 S. Anaheim Blvd., Anaheim, 92805.
