Greg Gagne, Kevin Seitzer and three other players agreed to one-year contracts with major league teams.

Gagne, who is eligible for free agency after the 1990 season, agreed to a $1-million contract with the Minnesota Twins, a raise of $430,000. Seitzer, eligible for arbitration for the first time, settled with the Kansas City Royals for $1,001,250, a raise of $661,250.

Infielder Brad Wellman and Kansas City agreed to $295,000, a raise of $104,000; outfielder Curt Ford and Philadelphia settled at $195,000, a raise of $84,000, and pitcher Greg Harris, who had been a free agent before agreeing to salary arbitration with Boston, signed with the Red Sox for about $600,000.
