Supervisor Har riett M. Wieder has raised $96,196 since last July for her reelection campaign, bringing the total collected in her bid for a fourth term to $159,194, according to financial statements received Friday by the county registrar of voters office.

Wieder’s campaign for the June 5 election has $113,609 in cash on hand, her latest financial statement shows.

On Friday, The Times erroneously reported that Wieder had raised only $148.40 in the current campaign. That figure--the amount left over from her previous supervisorial campaign--was part of a financial statement filed separately on Thursday.

Wieder said that, under state law, candidates cannot carry over contributions that they raised in previous campaigns.

“I had to start from scratch to establish a sizable campaign fund,” she said. “We had two successful fund-raisers, one last summer and one in November.”

Wieder said she will continue to work on a program to bring the cities and county together on a coordinating committee. She said she will work to solve the traffic problems in the county as she has through the “super streets” program to move cars more efficiently on major surface streets.

Among Wieder’s major contributors were the Orange County Deputy Sheriffs Political Action Committee, which contributed $7,500, and a firefighters’ local in Los Angeles County, which contributed $3,500, according to financial statements.

Builders and developers also contributed heavily to Wieder’s campaign, both individually and as political action committees. The Building Industry Assn. of Southern California gave $2,900 to her campaign.

Wieder’s expenses totaled $22,016 for the last half of 1989, including expenditures for printing and mailing campaign literature and catering fund-raisers, financial statements show.

The financial statements cover the reporting period of July 1 to Dec. 31.

During that period, Supervisor Thomas F. Riley raised $107,100 and Supervisor Don R. Roth raised $64,195. Riley has $88,071 in cash on hand; Roth has $103,762.

The other two members of the Board of Supervisors, Roger R. Stanton and Gaddi H. Vasquez, are not up for reelection in June.
