Second baseman Harold Reynolds reached an agreement with the Seattle Mariners on a three-year, $5 million-contract, avoiding arbitration.

Reynolds, who has a no-trade clause for the first two years of the contract, will get a $500,000 signing bonus, $800,000 in 1990, $1.7 million in 1991 and $2 million in 1992.

The Mariners originally offered $1 million a year to Reynolds, who made $635,000 in 1989.
