Crawford to Remain a Phantom: Michael Crawford will continue to play “The Phantom of the Opera” at the Ahmanson Theatre at least through March, said a spokeswoman for the producers on Wednesday. Callers for tickets had previously been told that Crawford had committed to remaining in the show only through Feb. 25. In the meantime, Mary D’Arcy has left the role of Christine at the Tuesday and Wednesday performances. Until a replacement is found, Dale Kristien--who plays Christine at all other performances--will fill in.
