6.9 Earthquake Rocks Central Philippines

MANILA —
A strong earthquake rocked the central Philippines on Thursday, swaying buildings and injuring at least 22 people. The tremor was measured at magnitude 6.9 by the U.S. Geological Survey, said Pat Jorgenson, a public affairs officer at its office in Menlo Park, Calif.
