Hawks Deal for Guard Kenny Smith
Guard Kenny Smith and rookie forward Mike Williams were traded to the Atlanta Hawks by the Sacramento Kings Tuesday for forward Antoine Carr, guard Sedric Toney and a second-round choice in the 1991 NBA draft.
Smith, a first-round pick out of North Carolina in the ’87 draft, averaged 15 points and 6.6 rebounds in 46 games for the Kings this season.
Carr, a six-year veteran, averaged 7.6 points and 3.4 rebounds in 44 games for the Hawks.
