The body of a man was found Thursday at an apartment complex on South Euclid Avenue with at least one gunshot wound to his upper body. Police were investigating the possibility that the slaying was connected to the earlier shooting of a 17-year-old resident of the same complex.

Anaheim police had not identified either victim by evening.

‘We don’t know 100% that it is related,” said Sgt. Chet Barry, who was investigating at the scene. “Obviously, it looks like it is for a number of reasons.”

Police were investigating the shooting of the youth, who was treated at Martin Luther Hospital Thursday morning, when they received an anonymous call informing them of a body in a unit of the Pine Falls complex at 1250 S. Euclid Ave.

The teen-ager suffered a gunshot wound to his arm and was listed in stable condition at the hospital.

Barry said that police investigating the shooting of the teen-ager had not discovered any evidence of another shooting.
