Harness-Racing Drivers’ Request Rejected: Judge John Davies of U.S. District Court in Los Angeles denied a request Friday by harness-racing drivers that Los Alamitos stop limiting the number of drivers who may race during the track’s five-month meeting. Attorney Roger Craigo had argued that the track was effectively revoking the licenses of the plaintiff drivers by only allowing “popular” drivers with winning records to work. (Filed Jan. 24, 1990.
