Broker Basketball to Aid Leukemia Society
The third annual Broker Basketball Benefit for Leukemia will be held beginning at 8:30 a.m. March 15 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena.
About 300 participants, forming more than 60 teams, are expected this year. The goal is to raise more than $30,000, according to Christy Overgard and Timur Tecimer of the sponsoring Trammell Crow Co.
The entry fee is $500 per team, all of which goes directly to the Leukemia Society. Trammell Crow Co. is underwriting all tournament costs. More information can be obtained from Overgard or Tecimer at (213) 724-2246.
