Rosemead Senior Wins Good Citizen Award

The San Marino chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution has given its Good Citizen Award to Gena Merlo, a senior at Rosemead High School.
Winners are selected by their classmates for leadership, dependability, service and patriotism.
Merlo has been Associated Student Body president, varsity cheerleader, treasurer of the freshman, sophomore and junior classes, a member of the varsity volleyball team and 1988 American Legion Girls state representative in Sacramento.
