Southland high school students are invited to enter a solo vocal competition May 12 at the Orange County High School of the Arts in Los Alamitos. Contestants will be shown a list of selections and asked to choose two: one classical and one pop. Trophies, plaques and certificates, but no cash awards, will be given. Applications are due April 1.
