Pasadena Official Gets Transit Commission Post
Pasadena Assistant City Manager Judith Weiss, who occupied the No. 3 position in city government, will leave that job March 30 to become deputy executive director of the Los Angeles County Transportation Commission.
Weiss, 42, started working for Pasadena in 1980 as an executive assistant to City Manager Donald McIntyre. She will be second in command at LACTC, an agency that has 214 employees and an annual budget of $560 million. Her annual salary will be $98,000.
