James Wilder, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ all-time leader in rushing yards and receptions, signed with the Washington Redskins, Redskin General Manager Charley Casserly announced.
The Redskins also signed Plan B free-agent safety Brad Edwards from the Minnesota Vikings and wide receiver Charles Lockett, who played for two years with the Pittsburgh Steelers before his release last summer.
