Harvey Stein and Robert Marchand’s Divine Spirit and Suzanne Broughten’s Goodness Gracie top the field of seven in the $14,199 California Breeders Stakes for sophomore trotting fillies tonight at Los Alamitos.
Divine Spirit and Goodness Gracie have become arch rivals since the start of 1990, with the former getting the edge in the win column by a score of three to two.
