Juliana Yendork of Walnut High School, the defending State champion in the long jump and the triple jump, set a national high school indoor record of 45-5 1/2 in the National Scholastic indoor championships at Syracuse, N.Y.
Yendork set the former mark of 42-3, in the Sunkist Indoor meet in January.
Stevanie Wadsworth of L. D. Bell in Hurst, Tex., set a national record in the shotput with a 50-7 1/2 effort, breaking her record of 49-10 1/2.
Freshman Marion Jones of Rio Mesa won the 200 with a time of 24.40 and senior Kim Toney of Atascadero won the 800 in 2:13.23.
