Coaches from seven Saddleback Valley high schools will challenge members of the Rams in a basketball game on March 23 at El Toro High School to raise funds for Saddleback Community Enterprises for the Developmentally Disabled.
Among the Rams scheduled to play are Jim Everett, Mike Lansford, Duval Love, Kevin Greene, Mike Piel, Flipper Anderson, LeRoy Irvin, Mike Wilcher, Aaron Cox and Robert Delpino.
Coaches from Capistrano Valley, El Toro, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, Santa Margarita, Silverado and Trabuco Hills will participate, as will each high school’s cheerleaders on the sidelines.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and both Rams players and Rams cheerleaders will be available for autographs and pictures before the game and during halftime.
Tickets, which are $10 for adults and $7 for students and children, are available through participating schools and at the Saddleback Community Enterprises office, 25701 Taladro Circle, Mission Viejo, or by calling (714) 837-7280.
Saddleback Community Enterprises is a sheltered workshop for developmentally disabled adults. It serves the handicapped by providing vocational training and employment opportunities.
