Details of the Angels’ preseason schedule began to emerge today after settlement of the major-league baseball lockout. (Details, P10.)

Angel players are to report to Gene Autry Park in Mesa, Ariz., by 9 a.m. Tuesday, the club announced, for the team’s first full-squad workout.

The team will practice in Mesa until Sunday, then go to Palm Springs to play the last three games of its exhibition schedule, beginning next Monday. An Angels spokesman said a fourth game might be added on March 29.

The annual Freeway Series between the Angels and Dodgers will be played April 6, 7 and 8, with the Angels hosting one game and the Dodgers two, although the order has yet to be determined. The Angels will probably add exhibition games between March 29 and April 6, but the number and opponents have not been set.

The Angels’ home opener on April 9 will be their season opener. The six road games lost to the lockout, three in Seattle and three in Oakland, could be made up as double-headers or on off days during road trips later in the season.
