UNDER FIRE: The Rev. Frank Eiklor, founder of the Costa Mesa-based Shalom International, a Christian group that battles anti-Semitism, is on his way to war-torn South Lebanon, where he plans to meet with Christian leaders. Eiklor will travel under the protection of the Israeli army, so he says he isn’t overly concerned about being taken hostage. “The victims of the terrible suffering that is Lebanon--many of them women and children--feel forgotten by Christians like me,” he says.
