“Parenthood,” which is a solid No. 2 on the Billboard chart for the second straight week, just might be the next No. 1 rental. “Lethal Weapon 2” shows no signs of faltering, but the word from video retailers is that “Parenthood” is getting stronger. Look out for “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids,” the Disney blockbuster that debuted at No. 37. It’ll be Top 10--maybe even Top Five--next week. “The Package,” the thriller starring Gene Hackman and Joanna Cassidy, is delivering in the rental market, moving up four notches to No. 7. The wacky “Young Einstein,” the comedy that was such a smash hit in Australia, is doing good business (No. 16) in the rental market.

* “Field of Dreams,” the fantasy/drama starring Kevin Costner and Amy Madigan, has everything going for it, including a best-picture Oscar nomination and a hefty box-office gross, both indicators of rental success. Also, it’s a baseball movie, coming out when the new season is just around the corner. The movie debuted at No. 10, but in the next few weeks could easily take over the top spot.
