Man Lying in Street Dies of Stab Wounds
An unidentified man died Thursday after being found stabbed on a San Fernando street, police said. No arrests have been made.
Police were called to the 1000 block of Arroyo Street at 11:36 p.m. Wednesday, where they found a man who had been stabbed in the left side lying unconscious next to the curb. He was taken to Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, where he died four hours later.
Police have been unable to identify the victim, who was described as a white man, 35 to 40 years old, with gray hair. He never regained consciousness to tell detectives what happened, and the motive for the slaying was unknown, police said.
