Man Charged in Stabbing Death of His Wife
A 54-year-old man who police say was mired in marital problems was charged with murder Thursday in Santa Anita Municipal Court for the stabbing death of his wife.
William H. Pedroni, a self-employed auto mechanic, was arrested Wednesday, a day after Marilyn Pedroni’s body was found by her two adult sons in the couple’s home near Arcadia.
According to Lt. Bill Christiansen of the sheriff’s Homicide Bureau, the 50-year-old woman was stabbed several times in the chest and stomach.
Pedroni was being held in the Los Angeles County Jail without bail. His arraignment was set for Tuesday.
