Plumber Who Falls in Manhole Dies
COSTA MESA —
A La Puente plumber working to unclog a sewer line died Friday after falling from the top of a manhole and landing on his head, police said.
Domecio Elias, 46, was working at a construction site in the 1000 block of West 18th Street when he fell down the sewer shaft about 1 p.m. Friday, Costa Mesa Lt. Gary Webster said.
