Arkansas, Duke, Georgia Tech and UNLV made an estimated $1.43 million each for advancing to the Final Four.
Teams get about $286,000 for each round they play in the NCAA tournament through the national semifinals, NCAA spokesman Jim Marchiony said. There is no further payment for advancing to the championship or winning the tournament.
Connecticut, Loyola Marymount, Minnesota and Texas--the four regional final losers--earned about $1.14 million each.
