Baseball mania has returned to the county as the 1990 regular season gets under way Monday. Local ticket agencies say that despite the spring training lockout by owners that delayed the start of the season by one week, they have been fielding hundreds of calls each day from fans wanting prime seats for Angels games.

The Angels will start the 1990 season at home with a three-game series against the Seattle Mariners. Monday’s game starts at 6:05 p.m., with Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s games to start at 7:35 p.m. The Minnesota Twins will come to town Thursday. Games in that series will start at 7:35 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 7:05 p.m. Saturday.
