Bright Candles Third at Pimlico
BALTIMORE —
Stacie’s Toy, a New York invader, led all the way to capture the 29th running of the $200,000 Pimlico Oaks Saturday at Pimlico Race Course.
Stacie’s Toy, ridden by Edgar Prado, splashed ahead of 5-2 favorite Dance Colony by a length, in a time of 1:45 1/5 for 1 1/16 miles over a muddy track. Bright Candles was another head back in third.
