3 in Baltimore Family Die in Smoking-Related Fire

BALTIMORE —
A mother, her son and grandson died in an early morning house fire Monday, fire officials said. They said the fire had started in a chair and was apparently lit by a cigarette. Of 14 fire fatalities in Baltimore so far this year, 12 have been smoking related, the Fire Department says.
