If you haven’t heard--or seen--enough of Zsa Zsa Gabor, she’s back on television.

This time, it’s not on the news but on a sitcom as a guest star on CBS’ “City.”

She plays Babette Croquette, the head of Babette Cosmetics, whose defective tanker is leaking vast quantities of oil into a river--not crude, dahling, but purple hair oil. Valerie Harper as the city manager wants her to pay for the cleanup.

Babette’s exit in the show, which involves a young cop, makes fun of her brush with the law, but in real life Zsa Zsa is still fuming. The incident, however, had an upside.

She has long been active in fund raising for animal rights and environmental causes. Now she also wants to help LIEU-CAP, Low Income Elderly United Community Assistance Program, where the judge ordered her to work.

“LIEU-CAP is a place in Venice for homeless women and older people. It’s a place where homeless people can stay 60 days, no questions asked. I worked more than 120 hours, I worked about 135 hours. I hired two wonderful women with children who had no place to go to work for me.

“I am giving a big party for LIEU-CAP June 8. The tickets will be $250 a couple. I will make an auction and we will try to raise at least $200,000. . . . Valerie Harper--she’s the most wonderful, intelligent, brilliant woman to work with--said she will help and so will Bob Hope.”

Gabor said that she is writing her autobiography for Delacorte and that the book will also will be made into a movie.

“We have to find a 15-year-old Zsa Zsa for the movie,” she said, “and I will play my mother when we lived in Budapest. Michael Caine will play one of my ex-husbands (probably George Sanders) and I hope and pray to get Clint Eastwood to play (ex-husband) Conrad Hilton. He would be perfect.”
