ANAHEIM : Woman Believed Run Over by Car
A 40-year-old woman who was found dead in the parking lot of the Melodyland Christian Center was apparently hit by a car, authorities said Monday.
“We have a strong indication and evidence that she was run over,” Police Lt. Marc Hedgpeth said.
Jeanne Annette Hays, a transient, was found dead with a deep wound to her head about 9:36 p.m. Saturday. She was lying fully clothed in the southeast part of the Melodyland parking lot on 400 W. Freedman Way, Hedgpeth said.
Police have not determined if Hays’ death was “a criminal act or an accident,” Hedgpeth said.
