A report that the NCAA has targeted Colorado’s football program for investigation has been termed “out of bounds” by university President Gordon Gee.
However, in responding to a radio report, Colorado officials acknowledged that there had been minor rules infractions reported to the NCAA.
“I won’t say we haven’t had minor rules violations,” Colorado Coach Bill McCartney said. “It’s not something I’ll publicly disclose. But nothing flagrant has happened here. All kinds of things happen during the course of a year that we routinely respond to and report (to the NCAA). I think about five things have come up that we have been remiss in or not handled appropriately.”
