EARTH DAY PICNIC: Participants can learn what to do to save the environment at an Earth Day picnic featuring exhibits, a tree planting and a 20-foot whale; El Dorado Park West duck pond, Studebaker Road between Willow and Sterns streets, Long Beach; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
