Flagler, Stubbs to Dallas
The Dallas Cowboys today traded draft picks for running back Terrence Flagler and defensive end Dan Stubbs of the World Champion San Francisco 49ers.
The Cowboys gave the 49ers the second-round pick they acquired from the Minnesota Vikings in the Herschel Walker deal last fall. Dallas also gave the 49ers the third-round pick they had from the Kansas Chiefs.
Dallas will get San Francisco’s third-round pick and an eleventh-round choice.
Flagler was the 251st player picked in the 1987 draft out of Clemson. Stubbs, who played from Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson at the University of Miami, was the 33rd player taken in the 1988 draft.
Stubbs had 39 sacks during his collegiate career.
