Dorye Roettger of Los Angeles is looking for a support hose --not a garment but an adjustable stake that fits on a garden hose to make a convenient portable sprinkler. Can you direct her to a sprinkling of sources, or will Roettger, not knowing what to dew, have to rein hopes of having a lush garden this year?

A Los Angeles reader is seeking someone who replaces wooden handles on kitchen paring and carving knives. Can you help by coming right to the point, or will things be very dull in our reader’s kitchen because she wooden know how to handle such a sticky situation?
