Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a 30-year-old man suspected of fatally stabbing a friend during an argument, authorities said.

Angel Losada Luna, 37, of Orange died Sunday night at Chapman General Hospital about 30 minutes after the stabbing, Lt. Richard J. Olson said.

Olson said an argument broke out between Luna and Antonio Juarez while they were drinking at another friend’s house in the 18000 block of Center Street in the unincorporated El Modena area of Orange.

The two men were asked to leave. They did but continued fighting in front of the house, Olson said.

Olson said detectives believe that Juarez pulled out a knife, stabbed Luna in the chest and then ran.

Sheriff’s deputies arrived about 10:26 p.m. but could not locate the suspect.

Juarez is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. When last seen, he was wearing blue jeans and a white shirt, Olson said.

Anyone with information regarding Juarez’s whereabouts is asked to call (714) 647-7000.
