A scheduled strike vote by about 1,000 registered nurses at two Kaiser Permanente facilities was delayed Monday night, pending further study and consideration of Kaiser’s latest offer, a union spokesman said Tuesday.

Dave Bullock, southern regional director of the American Federation of Nurses, Local 535, Service Employees International Union, said three membership meetings will be scheduled next week to decide on the proposed contract.

Meanwhile, Bullock said, Local 535 has filed a required 10-day notice of its intention to strike at the 632-bed Los Angeles Medical Center and the 40-bed Inglewood Skilled Nursing Facility.
