TORONTO —
Confiscated rock ‘n’ roll T-shirts and leisure wear worth more than $1 million will shipped to needy people in Ethiopia. The clothing was seized last year in Canada because the sellers paid no copyright fees to use licensed designs, Canadian Press reported.
Music and clothing entrepreneur Bill Ballard said Wednesday, “We can really isolate that (the clothing) is going out of the marketplace. There are no real rock merchandise sales in Ethiopia.”
