LEAK BUSTERS: Though the water shortage is not as serious here as in L.A. (A3), people are getting concerned. . . . The worst household offender: the home swimming pool, whose underground plumbing can invisibly leak hundreds of gallons a day. “It’s easy to think the water’s just evaporating,” Downs said.
