Bill Egan, who coached Kansas City Chief receiver Stephone Paige and ex-quarterback Bill Kenney in college, was named Wednesday as head men’s downhill coach for the U.S. Ski Team.

Egan, 41, of Mammoth Lakes, Calif., taught physical education and coached football at Saddleback College and coached skiing at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area for 18 years.
