CAMARILLO : 2 Men Arrested in Car Stereo Theft

Two men were arrested Thursday in Camarillo on suspicion of stealing a stereo from a car parked in the 1700 block of Jose Avenue, police said.
Jorge Arevalo, 22, and Lopez Cruz, 23, were being held Thursday in Ventura County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail each. They were arrested Thursday after police found them crouched on the floor of their car, parked less than a block away from where the theft occurred, said Sgt. Paul Oechsle of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.
