Southern California Drought Forces More Conservation
- Share via
Your editorial on water conservation tips (“If Only All of Us Would . . .,” April 15) should be posted on every refrigerator and hose bib in Southern California!
Just as important as residential conservation, however, are the contributions that can be made by local industry. Corporations like Anheuser-Busch and ARCO are using recycled water in their industrial operations. Treasure Farms and Ventura County’s Lake Sherwood Country Club are using reclaimed water for crop and turf irrigation.
Let’s make sure the companies, clubs, churches and other organizations to which we belong practice conservation as a lifestyle.
