Warner Books Denies ‘Stealth’ Claim: Warner Books’ responded to a $50-million copyright infringement suit filed last week in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles against the best-selling “Target Stealth,” calling it “totally unfounded,” according to Warner Book president Nanscy Neiman. Writer-director Gyorgy Fodor is suing Time Warner Inc., claiming that his screenplay “STEALTH” was the basis for the book, which was published in 1989. Fodor’s screenplay was submitted to Warner Bros. in early 1988. Fodor also names the novelist, Jack Merek, in the suit.
