Kaiser Nurses Vote to Strike on Sunday
Rejecting a management offer by an 86% majority, nearly 1,000 Kaiser Permanente registered nurses at facilities on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles and in Inglewood voted to go on strike next Sunday at 12:01 a.m., union officials said.
The walkout would follow a 10-day strike by other employees of Kaiser in Los Angeles and Orange counties last month. The nurses voted Monday on the offer by the health maintenance organization.
