Pape Signs With Cal State Northridge

E. J. Pape, a Valley College sophomore, said he signed a national letter of intent Tuesday to play baseball for Cal State Northridge on a full athletic scholarship.

Pape, who led Valley with 15 doubles and five home runs while playing several positions, said that he chose Northridge after also considering UCLA and Arizona.

“Regardless of position, I think the major strength he would bring to us would be his offensive ability,” Northridge Coach Bill Kernen said.
